Every test and component in AAT has an associated functional view. This section allows analysts to write the requirements and describe what the test is supposed to do. This way, the people responsible for creating the test will have all the necessary information directly within the test itself.

Filling out the functional view also helps quickly identify the purpose of each test or component, as this information is displayed in the test lists — both in the working directory and in the repositories.
